City HR manager honored

The City of San Angelo's human resources manager was recently named HR Professional of the Year by the Concho Valley Society for Human Resource Management. Veronica Sanchez has worked in the City's Human Resources Department since 2007, serving as its manager since 2008. Sanchez's HR career began in 2005 as a recruiter for Sitel, for whom she worked 10 years, including stints in employee relations, payroll and as an HR generalist.
