On Tuesday morning, just after 11, a San Angelo Police officer was flagged down near the 500 block of West Avenue N by employees of KFC. They pointed to subjects who were engaged in an unknown altercation in a nearby parking lot. It turns out that, moments earlier, a man entered the Subway Restaurant on South Bryant and stole a bank deposit bag containing an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing. Subway employees followed him across the street in an attempt to detain him while others called police. One Subway employee sustained minor injuries from the man who resisted apprehension. 31-year-old Jerry Rundle of San Angelo was arrested for Robbery and transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
