Angelo State University's chapter of the Society of Physics Students has been honored with a 2012-13 Future Faces of Physics Project Award and corresponding grant by the SPS National Office. The ASU group earned the award for its project designed to create and maintain a partnership with students at San Angelo's Alta Loma Elementary School to help advance science education in grades three through five. The award also includes a 300-dollar grant to help implement the program this spring.
