The name of the person killed in a New Year's Eve crash on the south side of San Angelo has been released. He was Airman First Class Brandon Jackson. He was 21 and stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base. Jackson was a passenger in a vehicle that knocked over a light pole and crashed into a ravine. The driver remains hospitalized in serious condition. Possible factors in the crash are speeding and alcohol.
