Alexander files for mayor

San Angelo City Councilman Paul Alexander filed his candidacy for mayor on Wednesday, the first day candidates could file for a place on the May 11th ballot to fill four seats on City Council. Along with the mayor's seat, Single-Member Districts 2, 4 and 6 are up for election. Alexander's candidacy for mayor will result in a special election, to be held concurrently with the May 11th election, to fill the Single-Member District 1 seat he has held since 2010. The final day to file at the City Clerk's office for a place on the ballot is March 1st
