Councilman Fredd Adams, who represents Single-Member District 4, submitted a letter of resignation Friday, effective immediately. In the letter, Adams said, "It was an immeasurable blessing for me to have dedicated so much hard work and time to the support, improvement and advancement of the City of San Angelo." Adams said he will dedicate his future endeavors to his family and his ministry. Adams had served on the Council since 2009. Single-Member District 4 is one of four Council seats slated to be filled in the May 11th election.
