There’s going to be more discussion at the next San Angelo City Council meeting about Quicksand Golf Course’s request to be allowed to purchase raw water to irrigate greens, tees and fairways. Council members debated the item for a while before voting 3-3 on a motion to allow. Councilman Fredd Adams was absent. Since there was no decision, it will appear on the next agenda, along with an item about whether the council members should change the city’s three stage drought contingency plan.
