What were all those people doing with their heads bowed at Lake Nasworthy over the weekend? They were praying for rain. Over two hundred of the faithful joined an effort organized by Bishop Michael Pfiefer of the San Angelo Diocese in an effort to take the need for rain to the highest level. Bishop Pfiefer says he chose Lake Nasworthy as the site for the prayer service for one good reason: because that's where San Angelo gets much of its water. Members and clergy from churches throughout the area participated in the ultimate call for water.
