California Driver Held on Marijuana Charge

He wasn't speeding much -- just seven miles over the limit -- but a California man is in Tom Green County Jail today because his car smelled -- like marijuana. Sure enough, the deputy sheriff who stopped Samuel Fletcher of Berkely, California, says he discovered fifty-four pounds of marijuana in bags in the trunk. The sealed bricks of pot were in white garbage bags and the driver appeared to have been sampling, officers say. Fletcher held today in lieu of $150,000 bond.
