Conaway: Injected CO2 Good For Oil Industry, Jobs, Climate

Carbon dioxide gets a bad rap from environmentalists but oil people know that if it's injected deep under ground it can help recover deposits of oil that might never be reachable otherwise. Now, San Angelo Representative Mike Conaway is pushing an initiative that would take what Texas oil people have known for years and make that knowledge more widely available. It's called the National Enhanced Oil Recovery Initiative and Conaway says its launch this week could help create jobs and even help the climate.
