Tina Purvis has some of her horses back. Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies seized 16 horses from her property in Christoval, last month, on suspicion of animal cruelty. They have been stabled and fed and treated by a veterinarian. A Justice of the Peace ruled that 11 of the horses should be returned to her. Five will be auctioned. No charges will be filed, but Purvis has been ordered to reimburse the county 850 dollars for their care. The auction will be at 9am July 28th in front of the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.
