Did you or your neighbors have a garage sale over the weekend? Lots of people did. And lots of versions about how many garage sales you ought to be permitted to hold each year have been debated by the San Angelo City Council. A compromise ordinance in June limited garage sales to three per year. Is that a problem? Not so far: city officials say they haven't received a single complaint -- and have not written a single garage sale citation.
