Texas burning: The state Forest Service responding to a new large fire in Van Horn County to the west of us yesterday. The latest situation report also says three new large fires broke out on Tuesday and six big blazes are being fought right now. Tom Green and surrounding counties are part of an almost universal ban on burning statewide. How far-reaching are burn bans today? Of 254 Texas counties, all but eleven are reporting burn bans.
