The San Angelo Independent School District Board of Education meets tonight to set dates for budget workshops and set the official tax rate, as they move closer to the budget deadline at the end of August. Last week, the Board members learned 2.3 million dollars from the federal Education Jobs Fund had been released, so the District will likely postpone discussing an increase in employee contributions to health insurance plans.
