Owner of Horses Seized by the County Wants Her Animals Back

The owner of 16 horses seized by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office is speaking out about the condition of her animals. Tina Purvis will be in civil court to try and get them back, tomorrow. Sheriff’s Deputies say they received a report about the horses and after checking the out, took them into custody for suspected malnutrition. They had a number of health issues. Purvis says they had natural food sources on the farm and 40 acres to roam, which she feels is more humane than housing them in stalls.
