More sports headlines

Central High School is looking for a new head baseball coach. Chad Krempin is leaving the Bobcats to become head baseball coach at Class 3A Salado (suh-LAY-doh).

Grape Creek ISD is getting a new head coach for boys basketball. Josh Timms is a graduate of Grape Creek who has recently been an assistant in Coleman. Timms takes over as Eagles coach next Monday.

The Colts have another night off before traveling to Harlingen to visit the Rio Grande Valley White Wings tomorrow to start a three game series. The Colts are home this weekend if you're planning ahead.

The Rangers and Astros are off tonight, but the MLB All Star game is on. The teams resume their regular schedules Thursday.

Saturday, July 23 it's the Operation Finally Home Benefit with music and a poker run. There will be cash prizes for bikes, boats, and hot rods. It's all at Stillwater Lodge on Fire Department Road.
