A collision took place during Tuesday's after-school rush hour on North Chadbourne. San Angelo police say a woman driving a Toyota Avalon collided with a woman driving a Chevrolet pickup truck at the intersection of Chadbourne and 24th Street. The driver in the pickup went to Community Medical Center. The Avalon wound up against a telephone poll and police cited the driver of that that vehicle for failing to yield right of way. Chadbourne traffic was blocked for awhile as workers cleared debris.
