Unemployment

Unemployment continues to fall across the state and locally. According to the Texas Workforce Commission, the statewide unemployment was six-point-two percent in November, down from six-point-six percent in October and remains well below the national rate of seven-point-seven percent. In San Angelo, the jobless rate dropped to four-point-five percent in November, down from four-point-eight percent in October and five-point-five percent one year ago.
