A reminder as we head into the holidays that Tom Green County is once again under a burn ban. County commissioners reinstated the ban, under which residents in unincorporated areas will not be able to burn trash but can still use propane or gas stoves for cooking outdoors. Otherwise, only prescribed burns will be allowed. The burn ban will be in effect for 90 days.
