The man charged with capital murder in the shooting death of a former San Angelo police officer is scheduled to appear in court next week. 25-year-old Brandon Daniel of Austin is charged with shooting Austin police officer Jaime Padron in a Walmart last April. Daniel and his defense attorneys will be present for the hearing in Austin district court next Monday. His trial is scheduled for next year.
