Crime Victims and their families and friends gathered for a special ceremony last evening at the Stephens Central Library. It was the 11th annual tree of angels ceremony, sponsored by the Tom Green County Coalition Against Violence. It was time of healing as family and friends of a victim and survivors of a violent crime were invited to bring an angel ornament to place on the special tree. Organizers the event helps heal the wounds caused by a violent crime which affected their lives.
