Sales permits required

A reminder from the San Angelo Police Department: all sales groups must obtain a sales permit in order to sell products within the city. A group selling magazines and coupon cards tried to obtain permits last week but did not meet the eligibility requirements for all the sales staff. Later it was learned some of the staff were soliciting without permits in the southwest portion of town. As a result, the issued permits for the group were revoked. If anyone approaches you in public or at your home, they are required to display a city-issued permit. Otherwise, you can report them to San Angelo police.
