On Saturday, members of the San Angelo community will gather together to honor veterans during the holiday season as part of the annual Wreaths Across America Day. The San Angelo Composite Squadron and Texas Leadership Charter Academy Cadet Squadron have volunteered to conduct the WAA ceremony. It will be held at the All Veteran Cemetery Plot at Belvedere Memorial Park on Arden Road. Seven ceremonial wreaths will be placed to remember all soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who served, honor their sacrifices, and to teach younger generations about the high cost of freedom.
