Seven units of the San Angelo Fire Department responded to a housefire Sunday afternoon in the northeast section of the city. It happened around 2 o'clock in the 600 block of East 25th Street. It took firefighters about 25 minutes to bring the blaze under control because of the unusual layout of the home. The couple living there escaped without injury.
