The coldest temperatures in almost a year were expected overnight across West Central Texas, including the Concho Valley. The National Weather Service at San Angelo says lows were forecast in the teens and lower 20's. Caution should be taken to protect your pipes, your pets and any cold-sensitive plants. Temperatures will remain below normal this afternoon with a hard freeze likely again tomorrow morning. A warming trend will start tomorrow afternoon.
