Angelo State University and Howard College in San Angelo have established a partnership that will enhance continuing education opportunities and workforce training options for individuals and local companies. The continuing education partnership will use Howard College faculty and ASU faculty and facilities to expand existing offerings in professional development, workforce training and lifelong learning. The cooperative agreement is designed to meet the region’s growing need for expanded training and maximize the resources of both institutions to meet those area needs. Jamie Rainey, workforce training director for Howard College, will administer the partnership, and oversee course offerings, scheduling and continuing education credit.
