The San Angelo Packing Plant has closed again. It was just over a month ago that the plant on North Bell Street announced that it was re-opening with a new owner. Caviness Beef agreed to take over operations with local management by the Stokes family. The company's human resources officer has contacted the local Texas Workforce Solutions office to let them know that the closure of San Angelo Packing will affect more than 200 workers.
