Helping tornado victims

In response to citizen inquiries about what they can do to assist the tornado victims in Moore, Oklahoma, the City of San Angelo is encouraging the public to consider making a monetary donation to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Both the City of Moore and the Red Cross have advised in statements that monetary donations are the best way to assist the recovery efforts. Donations may be delivered, mailed or phoned in to the American Red Cross on South Chadbourne. Donations can also be made at the Red Cross' secured website, redcross-dot-org-slash donate. 10-dollar donations can also be made by texting the REDCROSS as one word to nine-zero-nine-nine-nine.
