Most City offices will be closed next Monday in observance of Memorial Day. While there will be no interruption of garbage collection or landfill operations Monday, there will be no residential trash service or landfill operations this Saturday. Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, and Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers will also be closed Monday.
At Fort Concho, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the fort will conduct Memorial Day exercises Monday, beginning at 9 a.m. on the Parade Ground in front of the Headquarters Building. Fort Concho will remain open until 5 p.m. Monday for self-guided tours.
