On Wednesday morning, San Angelo Police conducted a Driver's License and Insurance Checkpoint in the 1200 block of East 14th Street. Between eight and 11 AM, officers made contact with a total of 220 vehicles. The enforcement resulted in 115 citations, most of them for driver's license and insurance violations. They also made eight arrests, clearing 26 city warrants and eight Tom Green County warrants.
