The DPS confirmed the identity of a man suspected of killing one and injuring five other people, including the Concho County Sheriff. He was 23-year-old Esteban Smith, who was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Smith is accused of driving around in a pickup truck and randomly firing at vehicles in Concho and McCulloch Counties on Sunday morning. 31-year-old Alicia Torres was found shot to death in her car in Eola. Among the injured was Concho County Sheriff Richard Doane, who was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
