The theme of this year's NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet is "2012 NAACP - Obsolete or Still Necessary?" The banquet is an annual event that raises money for college scholarships that the San Angelo chapter of the NAACP awards to high school seniors. It is scheduled for 7 PM on February 18th at the McNease Convention Center on Rio Concho Drive.
