The San Angelo Police Department is celebrating the retirement of a veteran officer this morning. Kathy Walker has put in 22 years of service with the City of San Angelo16 and a half as a police officer. Police Chief Tim Vasquez says--quote--Kathy will be missed by everyone. Both Kathy and I started our careers, and worked together, in dispatch. She is family and will be missed." The ceremony will take place at 10 AM at the Municipal Court Building, 110 South Emerick.
