A report of suspicious activity brought San Angelo police to a residence in the 900 block of East 37th on Saturday afternoon. They found a blue Chevy truck that turned out to have been stolen from South David Street earlier in the day. They also found a man identified as 35-year-old Brandon Altman of San Angelo, who was allegedly removing property from the location. Altman told police that he had permission to use the truck and that he had permission to remove the property but both claims were denied by the respective owners. Altman was arrested and charged with burglary of a building and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
