On Friday, just after noon, San Angelo fire department responded to a report of a swimmer needing assistance at the Horseshoe area of Lake Nasworthy. After fire department personnel were unable to locate the swimmer, the police department's lake Ranger division began to search the area with sonar and dredging type equipment utilizing watercraft. After an hour and a half, the body of 17-year-old LaQuillan Jason Roberts was found.
