If you see the irrigation system at Santa Fe Golf Course turned on today and tomorrow, it's just a test and the city is aware of it. The evaluation is being necessitated by concerns with the irrigation system's operability. The Water Utilities Department and the Code Compliance Division - the latter of which polices watering violations - have been alerted about the testing, which at times will force sprinklers to run during prohibited hours.
