Investigation continues in Wall killings

More details have surfaced following Sunday's double homicide in Wall.

The Standard-Times reports Tom Green County Sheriff David Jones mentioning the execution of one search warrant with two more on the way. However, Jones has not disclosed their locations or what authorities want to find.

Forty-year-old Brian Berry remains in the county jail on five-hundred-thousand-dollars bail. Jones says he may face more charges besides murder.

Authorities have accused Berry of fatally shooting his estranged wife and her brother. Thirty-six-year-old Keri Berry of Wall and thirty-one-year-old Brandon Block of San Angelo both died at Keri Berry's residence on Susan Peak Road.

Block's twenty-six-year-old wife Susan remains at Shannon Medical Center with gunshot wounds. The newspaper reports her telling a sheriff's office dispatcher that Brian Berry had shot her, her husband, and Berry's wife.

Authorities claim Brian Berry took his two children to their mother that night. Divorce and bankruptcy case files show the Berrys going through a divorce and living apart since May.

Jones says the shooting happened with the children at the residence. He also says Berry left the house with the kids in a Chevrolet Camaro and switched vehicles in Eldorado.

Berry drove a Dodge van and had the children with him when authorities caught him in Andrews County one-hundred-fifty miles away.
