The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of west central Texas, including the Concho Valley. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible today, mainly south of a line from Sterling City to Abilene to Putnam. Brief heavy rainfall and dangerous cloud to ground lightning will be the main hazards.
