Gas prices up

Similar to the past two years, Triple-A says retail gas prices are headed back up following Independence Day weekend. Tensions in Egypt along with positive economic news and a decrease in oil supplies pushed crude oil prices beyond a 12-month high. The national average price of regular is three-60 a gallon, 13 cents more than a week ago. The Texas average of three-47 is up 15 cents. Gas-buddy-dot-com reports the price of regular in San Angelo ranges from three-39 to three-59 a gallon.
