Repair work on Hillside Drive continues although the road was fully reopened to vehicular and foot traffic on Friday. A storm drain culvert on the northeast corner of Hillside's two-mile loop was fixed last week and, this week, city of San Angelo crews will pave over a cut in the roadway that was necessitated by the repairs. The pipe will then be stabilized with concrete. Any further street closures should last only a short time.
