Earlier this week, gasoline prices were soaring but, as we head into the weekend, they have stabilized, at least for the moment. Triple-A reports the average statewide price in Texas for a gallon of regular is three dollars, 53 cents today--that's actually down by one cent since a week ago. And, according to Gas-Buddy-dot-com, the price of regular in San Angelo ranges from three-38 to three-61 a gallon.
