The San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department will be assisting state health officials in two free local clinics this week to test for sexually transmitted diseases. Sponsored by the Texas Department of State Health Services, the community outreach activities will provide free and confidential testing for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia. Each day of public testing will occur at the Salvation Army Red Shield Lodge, at 122 West 2nd Street. Testing will take place tomorrow from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
