Monday morning, the Greater Santa Rita Homeowners’ Association will hold its 17th annual Children’s Independence Day Parade. Meet at the entrance to Santa Rita Park, next to the Elementary School on South Madison Street, at 9:30. The parade steps off at 10. As a safety precaution, gas-powered engines will not be allowed in the parade.
