A man arrested by San Angelo police in April for killing a one-year-old child has been indicted. 24-year-old Atreyo Arzak Carter the Third is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Andrea Hernandez. Carter is accused of beating and abusing Andrea, who had been left in his care along with two other children. He claimed the infant had sustained her injuries, including skull fractures, by falling out of bed. Carter is being held in the Tom Green County Jail in lieu of one million dollars bail.
