After a sharp spike earlier this month, Triple-A is predicting that gas prices will stabilize as we head into August. As of today, the statewide average price of regular gas in Texas is three dollars 34 cents a gallon, up just one cent a gallon from a week ago, and well below the nationwide average of three-48. A check of gas-buddy-dot-com shows the price of regular gas in San Angelo ranges from three-21 to three-37 a gallon.
