An update on that story we reported in late June about the woman who allegedly stole a pickup, led police on a chase and then slammed into the San Angelo Police headquarters building. Police had to wait until 20-year-old Amanda Jeffreys of Manor got out of the hospital after recovering from the injuries she received when she plowed into police headquarters after a chase that reached eighty miles-per-hour. Now, Jeffreys has been charged with stealing the truck,m evading arrest and criminal mischief. That mischief now reportedly adding up to 100-thousand dollars in damages to police headquarters.
