Registration period open for School Safety seminar

Several leaders will get together to talk school safety later this month. Experts from the Texas School Safety Center will be here July 17-18 for the School Safety Summit in San Angelo. A new state law requires schools to have new policies on bullying in place, and the Safety Center is expected to provide information and help schools implement plans. Organizations like Boy Scouts, Big Brother/Big Sister, church youth groups, and the Boys and Girls Clubs may benefit too. The event will be at the Education Service Center on Irene Street, and advanced registration is recommended.

Register online at mis.netxv.net/sess0.asp for workshop session No. 019138.
