Things should be safer and smoother for motorists traveling through an intersection in north San Angelo. Because of a high crash rate, Texas Department of Transportation officials updated the light signal and re-painted the pavement markings at 19th and Bryant. TxDOt says the intersection was the location of eleven accidents from 2006 to 2008 and thus qualified for grant money under TXDOT's safety funding, which is made available each year to improve areas with high crash rates
