Arrests In Shooting Of Teen Girl

San Angelo police have arrested two men in an unusual shooting incident that left a woman wounded. Officers say 69-year-old Sidney Clemmer and 25-year-old Bobby Bydalek fired shots in the direction of a car near a storage container on Riverside Golf Club Road. A 16-year-old girl who was in the car was wounded in her arms and upper torso. Police say she was treated at Shannon and her injuries are not life-threatening. A 17-year-old boy who was with her told officers the shots were fired in their direction and the car crashed into one of the storage units. One of the suspects was injured when he was struck by the car as it tried to get away. It's not clear today why the teens were near the facility or why the shots were fired. San Angelo police are investigating the incident.
