San Angelo police have arrested a young man for allgedly burglarizing a vehicle and assaulting the owner. 77-year-old Adrian Ramirez called 9-1-1 on Sunday morning to report that he had seen a man looking into cars--and items from his own vehicle scattered on the ground--in the 4400 block of Meadow Creek Drive in southwest San Angelo. Ramirez said he then told the suspect that he had notified police and to stay put. He says the suspect then hit him in the head with a black canvas bag and ran off. Police captured 19-year-old James Garza, who they say was jumping fences and running through yards, and found property taken from Ramirez' vehicle in the black bag.
